Westmead is built around its major hospital and medical precinct, and many healthcare workers, students and their families live nearby.

Languages to try in your Westmead demo

The most common South Asian languages used at home were Hindi (1,620), Tamil (1,393), Gujarati (1,044) (2021 Census). Hindi is the most common South Asian language at home here, so Hindi serials, movies and news are usually the first thing families ask to see. Infinity TV covers all 16 of its languages on the same box, including English for the kids.

Internet in Westmead

We recommend a minimum of 30–50 Mbps. About 76% of occupied homes in Westmead are flats or apartments (2021 Census). In apartment buildings Wi-Fi can be weak by the time it reaches the TV, so a network cable from the router to the box, or a mesh Wi-Fi system, helps.
